BEAD Challenge Process

BEAM was required to run a Challenge Process to update the current Mississippi broadband map to ensure all unserved and underserved locations are accurately represented before awarding any BEAD funding. This Challenge Process was divided into three phases:

• Initial Challenges (August 1 - September 4, 2024)
• Rebuttals (September 18 - October 7, 2024)
• Adjudication (October 8 - November 22, 2024)

The results of the Challenge Process were sent to NTIA for review on November 22, 2024. The Challenge and Rebuttal Summary contains preliminary challenge results that were sent to NTIA for review.
